The Vision

  • Vastly improved, secure access to UK Higher Education research theses achieved via a web browser search facility available to any internet connected desktop or laptop computer
  • This in turn promotes visibility of UK Higher Education post graduate research
  • And contributes dynamically to the global knowledge pool
  • Streamlined request processes, reducing delivery lead time to the researcher from a scale of weeks to minutes when delivered electronically to the desktop

Digitisation and electronic centralisation (from current institutional e-theses systems) of all UK Higher Education research theses from many, geographical sources to one central, British Library-based database i.e. a "one stop shop".
