1) Search tool replacement – new search is more accurate and much quicker. Have a try!
2) Available thesis showing as ‘unavailable for download’ when customer is not logged in now correctly shows ‘available for download’ whether customer is logged in or not.
3) Digitisation time for theses now shows 30 days as the demand has been higher than expected.
4) We now show ‘Site down for maintenance’ or ‘Site busy’ pages if the server is shut down for planned maintenance or if the server is being overloaded respectively. Customers will no longer see ‘Page not displayed’ errors if Ethos is unavailable.
5) ‘Cannot supply’ message and instructions to contact institutions directly are now shown for certain theses that can only be supplied by participating institutions e.g. where author permissions have not been given.
6) Administration tool upgrade.
8) Corrections to listing of processes and dates on Order details screens (Thesis loaded, thesis downloaded etc).
